The sea and river are nearby, surrounded by a century-old historic site. The community is quiet and long-lasting, and Huagong Mountain serves as a small barrier, allowing you to maintain a comfortable and undisturbed way of life. However, it is very convenient to the city, just a ten-minute drive to downtown Hualien. Because we love literature and reading, the homestay is equipped with various books, and there is a giant breadfruit tree grandpa in the backyard, where you can always feel surrounded by sunlight and greenery. Whether you are cycling on the seaside bike path, running along the riverside park, watching the sunrise at Shuguang Bridge, visiting historic sites such as the Hualien Port Mountain Forest Business Office, Pine Garden, or General's Residence, or even going shopping in Hualien city at night, visiting Dongdamen Night Market, it is all very convenient. Or if you just want to quietly read a book in the homestay, meditate, or do yoga, you can do so freely and as you please.
