The hall focuses on indigenous themes, showcasing the life and aesthetic culture of the indigenous peoples of eastern Taiwan through its exhibition spaces and the promotion of tourism activities. It also integrates with the annual Austronesian Cultural Festival held here, emphasizing the connection between Taiwan and Austronesian peoples. Taiwan, situated at the boundary of subtropical and tropical zones, presents a unique way of life compared to other countries on the Tropic of Cancer. Especially the east coast facing the Pacific Ocean, with its diverse topography, creates stunning natural beauty. The sunrise in Taimali is red, the sunset on the east coast is orange, Lanyu's coral is purple, and the Pacific Ocean is blue, presenting the original natural and humanistic colors. Our passionate indigenous partners are like kites soaring freely in the sky; simple yet rising hot air balloons made of bamboo baskets; and plank boats filled with flying fish harvests welcoming you. Tribal chiefs offer the most genuine smiles, a smile on their dark faces warmly calling us home! We have 33 rooms, with the first floor representing the steadfast unity of the blue ocean, the second floor the sharing of beliefs in coral purple, and the third floor the guardianship of home in sunset orange. These natural colors, leaning on dreams, serve as a solid support for the revitalization and regeneration of indigenous villages. We use our own indigenous Austronesian vocabulary to tell our own beautiful stories, lighting up the brilliant rainbow table lamps of our moods. The simple and delicate cultural and creative life is meticulously hand-woven, full of beauty.
