Inhaling the natural fragrance deeply, after climbing up and down the slopes, your pores open up, feeling cleansed of congestion and depression. The owner built a bright, minimalist house on their own land, nestled in the hills of Tongluo, Miaoli. Local workers, following the plans of a young architect, spent a year and a half solidly building this simple, exposed aggregate concrete building. This is also a process of dreams blossoming. The owner, backpack on, traveled the world, originally planning to renovate a dilapidated wooden house in the ancient town of Shaxi on the Tea Horse Road in Yunnan. Although that was also a charming landscape imbued with historical elegance, fate led this free-spirited traveler to put down roots in their hometown. The homestay's location is not too remote; the road is lined with bamboo and accessible by car. You can harvest various vegetables and fruits from this land throughout the year, including guava, star fruit, pomelo, and bananas... The homestay rooms are not only filled with greenery outside the windows but also offer good books, movies, and internet.
