Along the way, you will be accompanied by the sound of water flowing from the irrigation ditches, passing by attractions such as Dashan Park, Nanhu Village's cypress forest, Chuying Waterfront Ecological Park, Ji'an Water Conservancy Ecological Trail, and the Monument to the Opening of the Hengduan Road. If you want a challenge, you can ride south for about 15 minutes to reach Feicui Valley and Mugu Muyu, where you can relax your tired feet in the cool stream water. Another 15 minutes south, Liyu Lake will be in front of you. For those who like hiking, you can also choose to walk about 15 minutes to Fenglin Trail in the morning. The trail is about 3.4 kilometers long, and you can enjoy a beautiful view of a large area of chessboard-patterned farmland from the pavilions on the trail. Zhikaxuan Forest Water Park, about a 15-minute drive away, is a great place for an afternoon stroll. A small water park was added in 2015, making it a great place to take children for a summer cooling trip. In the evening, it is about a 15-minute drive to Ziqiang Night Market, where you can enjoy Hualien's night market delicacies.
