The large lawn on the left is a place for children to play and play ball. The path in front leads to the stream for wading and playing in the water. You can also walk for about 15 minutes through a 200-meter-long ancient tunnel to reach the Emerald Valley in front of the homestay for SPA, swimming, river trekking, ancient trail adventures, and more, adding a touch of rural charm. To the left is Hualien's hottest attraction, Mugumuyu, with the Qingshui River and Longjian Gorge, known as the 'Nine Villages of China' (about 32 kilometers round trip); within six kilometers to the right are Baobai River, Liyu Lake, Ji'an Canal, and Fenglin Trail, all with dedicated bicycle paths. All rooms have windows with excellent views, allowing you to enjoy the beautiful natural scenery of the mountains, Mukua River, and Emerald Valley from your room, balcony, veranda, the green grassland in the park, and the trail. The architectural style is full of the rich indigenous Taroko culture. We offer rooms for two to six people, which are comfortable, spacious, bright, and simple, with beautiful views from the room. The observation deck in front of the homestay is an excellent vantage point to admire the beautiful scenery of the Mukua River, making one feel open-minded. In addition, the viewing platform by the fish pond is the best place to relax your body and mind, allowing you to fully experience the rural holiday feeling of a gentle breeze. The Tongmen community, picturesque in all seasons, is only 15 kilometers from the city (Hualien Train Station).
