The reason I decided to run a B&B after retirement is mainly because after many years of working in society, I longed to be close to nature, to have a large grassland with a garden and a small vegetable patch where I could stretch my muscles; nowadays, people are too busy with work to get close to nature, let alone have heart-to-heart talks with friends and family. Therefore, I hope to introduce such a good environment to fellow enthusiasts, which inspired the idea of running a B&B. It also allows me to interact with all sorts of people from society, which is completely different from what I encountered at work. There are no conflicts of interest; it's purely a combination of shared interests, where we can chat about everything under the sun without any external influence. After running the B&B for over a year, I realized that I could introduce this beautiful environment to more people who appreciate it. Therefore, we started offering afternoon tea this year.
