Follow the winding path up the mountain, park your car, and breathe in the cool mountain air. The main gate is open for you. Step into the secluded Fengchun Yuan, where a lush green lawn lines the slope, adorned with several European-style sculptures and outdoor seating. As you walk further in, host Sister Xu warmly greets you. In the semi-open viewing area, a lavish welcome tea and snacks are already prepared for you. Sip on organic honey black tea from a nearby tea plantation, taste the dragon fruit and mung bean cake grown at Fengchun Yuan, and gaze at the expansive view before you. Your worries will dissipate with the gentle breeze. Fengchun Yuan was built in 1989. It was originally a resort purchased by Sister Xu after she closed her previous business. The nearly five thousand ping (approx. 16,500 square meters) of land was entirely developed by her family. Unexpectedly, the quiet mountain life away from the hustle and bustle attracted visits from relatives and friends, so a new white European-style building was constructed.
