The hotel has been serving in front of Taitung's old train station since the 1950s and 60s. From the earliest Jin'an Hotel to Jun'an Hotel, and now to Men Ting Ruo Shi, the traces of sixty years have witnessed the rise and fall of eras and the succession of generations. In recent years, with the emergence of new types of accommodations, old hotels have gradually declined, even temporarily shifting to long-term rentals. Until 2019, a group of passionate young teams took over, committed to preserving the original spirit of the hotel. They began to wipe away the dust from her, redecorating her with a new look. During the process, they deliberately preserved many materials with distinctive characteristics of the era, such as old wooden windows and bathtubs, integrating them with new design concepts and craftsmanship to create a simple, rustic, humanistic, and story-filled warm space.
