Having survived the Ming pirates, Qing bandits, and the Sino-Communist civil war, the old house endured the ravages of war. It once housed both military and civilians, and along with the neighboring Chen Qingji Western-style House, it holds shared memories for the people of Bishan. After renovation and restoration, the old house became the first homestay in Bishan Village, a shared aspiration of the Chen family. The homestay lacks luxurious decoration but preserves the traces left by ancestors. The owner aims to make every guest feel at home, offering warm and enthusiastic hospitality.
