After renting a scooter at a nearby rental shop, I started the engine and set off! Turning into an alley, a three-story townhouse with iron window grilles full of traces of time. Pushing open the wooden door, this is Yongfu Inn, a vibrant stop for Tainan travelers! Preserving the charming window grilles of an old townhouse. The two owners of Yongfu Inn are a designer from Taipei and a contractor from Chiayi. They originally came to Tainan for a wedding banquet but unexpectedly fell in love with an old house here. So, they utilized their respective expertise to renovate the old house, taking one character from each of their names to form "Yongfu Inn." Both townhouses retain the old brick walls and iron window grilles. Upon entering the lobby, old Chinese medicine cabinets and vintage televisions, all collected by the owners, transport travelers back in time. In the Dafu Building, climbing the retro red staircase, you can still see the old carved transom windows deliberately preserved along the corridor. The stair treads in the annex are painted in vibrant colors, injecting new life into the old house. In this old house full of creative dreams, memory and vitality coexist. In the Zen Jing Room, the old wooden-framed window has been transformed into a screen, and the patterns on the frosted glass are still clear, as if taking you back to a childhood scene; two
