The owner of the resort, originally from Hsinchu, settled in Sichongxi after meeting his Paiwan wife and opened the romantic Fennel Love Hot Spring Resort. This hot spring resort, with its unique charm, is the realization of the owner's dream. From the small decorations in the shop to the design of every corner and the overall aesthetic, everything was conceived by the owner, who has a background in advertising. The proprietress also planted a lot of fennel (茴香, pronounced 'huíxiāng', which also sounds like '回鄉', meaning 'returning home') in the garden, thus giving birth to Fennel Love with its double meaning.
