It covers an area of about 1800 ping. It doesn't have a fancy garden with small bridges and flowing water, only the simple appearance of a rural village. The surrounding hedges, fruit trees, woods, and lawn are all planted and cultivated by the owner himself, focusing on environmental protection and operating with natural farming methods without fertilizers or pesticides. Longtian Village is located in the East Rift Valley, with the Coastal Mountain Range on one side and the Central Mountain Range on the other. It is a flat plateau that the Japanese chose as an immigrant village during the Japanese colonial era. Due to the pleasant climate, it is suitable for growing tea and fruits, and "Fulu Tea" has become famous in recent years. The farmland is planned in a chessboard pattern, which looks like a neat checkered cloth from above, a testament to the foresight of the Japanese. In recent years, with the improvement of living standards, new immigrants have flocked to Longtian Village, buying land and building houses to enjoy a quiet rural life, cultivating their minds and bodies, and living a leisurely and slow life. If you stay here, you can cycle during the day, explore the small roads around the village, pass through green tunnels, admire the tea plantation scenery, visit the nearby Longtian Elementary School (formerly Luye Elementary School built by the Japanese, with a history of a hundred years), and the shrine built by the Japanese, which is now Longtian Kun Ci Tang, and also the place where Master Cheng Yen first practiced. You can also go to the high platform to overlook the entire village scenery.
