Starfish-Bay B&B. Starfish-Bay B&B is located in Suo-gang. Starfish-Bay B&B is located in Suo-gang. Previously, many fishing boats in Suo-gang were engaged in catching squid. There is still a squid processing plant, so the ancestors called this settlement 'Xiao Guan' (pronounced in Taiwanese Hokkien). Later, the government adopted the homophone 'Suo-gang' as the name. Suo-gang settlement is considered the largest in the southern Penghu area, so the community's living functions are the most complete in southern Penghu, including a 7-11, Haocaitou Supermarket, Suo-gang Police Station, and Penghu South Library, all scattered within Suo-gang Village. After 3 PM, fishing boats start to return to Suo-gang Pier. Many fishmongers gather here to purchase fish in bulk. Tourists can also come here to snap up cheap and fresh seafood just brought ashore and ask the B&B owner to cook it or take it to a seafood restaurant for preparation.
