Although the benevolent look up to high mountains and embrace all things with virtue, there is no distinction between the benevolent and the wise, just as mountains and water in nature never compete, but complement each other, forming a "landscape" in our hearts. Mountains are places that nurture vegetation and life, and produce wealth and daily necessities for the people. However, mountains do not produce wealth and daily necessities for their own use; you and I can gather from the mountains, and the mountains selflessly give. Therefore, mountains are also selfless, allowing everyone to return with full hands. Mountains also give birth to clouds and wind, connecting heaven and earth, harmonizing yin and yang, moistening with rain and dew, and offering endless green mountains. Mountains are masculine, honest, constant, and stable. This is why you and I love mountains so much. My home is in Chiayi, where there is a beautiful Alishan. The name "Alishan" comes from an ancient legend: It is said that more than 250 years ago, there was a chieftain named Abari in Daban, who was brave and skilled in hunting. He ventured alone over mountains and ridges to hunt here and returned with a full harvest. Later, he often brought his tribesmen here to hunt, and they had abundant harvests.
