Over 20 years ago, a local known as 'Brother Shang,' Qiu Wangquan, opened Shang Ji Snack Shop on the street. His friendly service and Taiwanese-style cuisine were already highly praised by stationed soldiers. Driven by his love for Dongyin and a desire to provide every visitor with the most comfortable lodging, he purchased land and oversaw the renovation, drawing inspiration from European country-style architecture. After multiple discussions with designers, he chose sandstone and decorative plaster for the building materials, chosen for their waterproofing and heat-dissipating properties, to construct this inn named Shangri-La Leisure B&B. The striking orange exterior of Shangri-La stands out in the traditional community, appearing like a crane among chickens and becoming a prominent focal point. You can spot it from Zhongzhu Port, as if it's opening its arms wide, warmly welcoming you to Dongyin!
