Driving along the winding mountain road, the quietness made me think I was about to arrive at a secluded paradise. But the enthusiastic call of nature outside the car window made me more and more excited! Zhuhu Mountain Residence is such a place that appears quiet but is full of vitality!
A Natural Treasure Chest in the Deep Mountains
Upon arrival, a friendly and lively black dog greets your car. Not far away, baskets of freshly picked Ponkan tangerines and a bunch of bananas are placed on a wooden table. Host Brother Lai walks towards you kindly, his simple clothes and shy smile. Pointing to the fresh bananas he grew himself on the table, he says, "Have some, don't be shy!" Here, you can feel the most natural human touch. Although there are no neighbors, you can be neighbors with the heavens, the earth, and the mountain birds.
Walking with Brother Lai up the uphill path towards the independent accommodation area, beautiful rouge flowers bloom beside you, butterflies flutter, and the company of a cute black dog and the endless mountain scenery make it a journey that purifies the body and mind. At this moment, Brother Lai points to two distant mountain peaks, "From here to there is all our land..." He lists various tree species, "This is a tomato, that is a persimmon, dragon fruit, and banana..." "Listen! That's the call of a barking deer!" Then Brother Lai points to a distant mountain wall, "There are Formosan serows on the mountaintop!
