'Naruwan' means 'Hello' and 'Welcome' in the indigenous language, just like 'Aloha' in Hawaiian, conveying a sense of warmth, comfort, and joy! Taitung Naruwan Hotel, a five-star tourist resort, adopted this greeting with the hope that all guests will deeply feel the sincere welcome from all members of Naruwan. Taitung is the land of the rising sun, and its abundant and dazzling sunshine is our greatest asset! Therefore, from the very beginning of the design and construction, we decided to adopt a 'cable-stayed bridge' architectural style, complemented by large areas of transparent glass to bring in the maximum amount of sunlight and the surrounding mountain and sea scenery indoors. Its unique triangular appearance has also become a new landmark in Taitung! Taitung Naruwan Hotel is itself a work of art, blending modern fashion with indigenous culture. The 'Four Great Stone Pillars' at the main entrance, each nine meters high and made of sandstone from Shanxi Province, China, are carved in relief to depict the lifestyles and stories of the ancestors of the Rukai, Tao, Beinan, and Amis tribes. In this unique and wonderful four-dimensional space, the stone pillars silently narrate ancient history.
