This is our first time packing our bags and leaving our hometown, setting off from Hotel Day+ Chiayi to reach the endlessly alluring red city. The first step taken is always the most exhilarating and anticipated, a sweet smile on our lips, a love for wandering poetry hidden behind plump clouds, the imagined map of travel is a sky of blue, almost transparent blue, without borders. Hotel Day+ Tamsui, a colorful debut. Roam freely, a traveler's ferry in the alley. Understanding the traveler's heart, we avoid the bustling main streets and open the hotel's doors in a quiet alley. Full-view floor-to-ceiling windows draw sunlight into the lobby, making the corridors resemble a traveler's departure ferry terminal. Floating ovals on the ceiling, shimmering and undulating, create a three-dimensional space that is both elegant and free. The boat-shaped counter sways like a small boat between the river mouth and the wetlands, with schools of fish swimming through and mangrove forests extending, blending space and nature into a new design poetry rich with local character.
