More than seven years ago, two musicians who loved to travel found a long-abandoned piece of land in the middle of Taiwan's east coast. On this unremarkable piece of land, which had changed hands many times, they built their dream of retiring to the mountains. They were not only passionate about music but also deeply loved architectural design. After devouring relevant books and watching programs and videos about architectural design, they spent three years communicating with the excellent architect Mr. Zhao and two years researching with the talented designer Mr. Li, drawing inspiration for building the house from the vast Pacific Ocean. This house is fascinating; it takes a typical rectangular house and pulls it apart horizontally to form a 'wall,' which then becomes the current seven-block, stepped long house resembling the seven musical notes 'DO-RE-MI-FA-SOL-LA-SI.' The space is designed with separate living areas for hosts and guests, allowing for private spaces while also providing a central hall for interaction and socializing. Every room offers ocean views and maintains excellent privacy. Each room is equipped with soundproof, airtight windows made of five-plus-five laminated reinforced glass capable of withstanding typhoons. You can open the doors and windows to directly connect with the sea and the Coastal Mountain Range. The architect used a strong, earthquake-resistant structure to reinforce the building's body, complemented by a sturdy and elegant main door, ensuring you can safely and comfortably enjoy the sea views, starry skies, sea breeze, and mountain winds of the east coast.
