In the quiet alley behind, rows of houses, with hollowed-out characters emitting a gentle yellow light, The Shire elegantly appears—it turns out that the ideal life is not elsewhere, but right before your eyes. Hidden in a residential house, the leisurely "The Shire" (Shire) is named after the hobbit dwelling in "The Lord of the Rings." Just like the warm, quiet, and beautiful place in the movie, here, the hosts Ivan and his wife Xiao Lan have also realized their ideal life. The moment you step into The Shire, travelers are greeted by warm sunlight streaming through large floor-to-ceiling windows onto the soft carpet. Everywhere you look, there are warm wooden furniture. The Shire's space design is simple, beautiful, but not ostentatious. The red brick floor on the first floor extends to a comfortable living room, dining table, and kitchen; and the tiled stone walls quietly absorb Yilan's humidity, keeping the temperature just right throughout the year. Just being in the house, sitting, lying down, or casually flipping through books, you can enjoy leisure. Ivan, who studied landscape design in college, has a unique taste and expertise. After graduation, he participated in many key construction projects in Yilan, such as Luodong Sports Park, which he really likes.
