Surrounded by mountains and lush greenery as far as the eye can see, the environment far from the hustle and bustle naturally calms the minds of guests who come to Mimiyo. Mimiyo in the Tsou language means 'to wander around'. The host, Afai Nuozhachiana, hopes that tourists can travel spontaneously without worries, which is why he named the homestay Mimiyo. The rooms at Mimiyo, from the coat hooks on the wardrobes to the dressing tables, desks, stools, desk lamps, and tissue boxes, are all handcrafted by the male host using local logs or bamboo. The balconies and bathrooms feature large floor-to-ceiling windows, offering panoramic views of the mountain scenery that changes with the morning and evening. On the semi-open balcony, enjoy tea, mountains, clouds, and books at the wooden table handcrafted by Afai – whatever you wish. If you wish to delve deeper into the culture and ecology of the Tsou Dabang village, the licensed male host can arrange a two-day, one-night in-depth tour for guests.
