It is a traditional building with a double-eave roof and left and right wings, boasting an impressive layout. The hexagonal brickwork on its exterior is a rare and exquisite technique in Kinmen's residential architecture. It is also one of the few historical buildings designated by the Kinmen Cultural Affairs Bureau that operates as a homestay, making it well worth the attention and appreciation of visiting tourists. Following the small path from the Zhushan shooting range, you arrive at Dafudi's double-eave, wing-style Fujianese architecture, feeling as if you've stumbled upon a hidden paradise. Inside Dafudi, in addition to the magnificent and grand entrance hall, meticulously restored by experienced craftsmen using traditional methods, there is a spacious courtyard, rosewood furniture, and grand chairs. The bedrooms feature priceless antique carved beds and dressing tables, alongside modern ceramic bathrooms and wall-mounted plasma TVs that blend in seamlessly. Coupled with the owner's thoughtful touches, such as classical romantic canopies, bed linens, bedding, and wireless broadband internet, it feels like stepping into a beautiful space where classical and modern intersect, leaving one feeling refreshed and delighted. Outside the main entrance, large water vats, commonly used in Kinmen in the past, are repurposed as planters, showcasing the authentic spirit of Kinmen. The interior furnishings are all ancient artifacts used in Dafudi's early days, such as stone beads, stone mills, and chicken bowls. Each ancient artifact left by our ancestors tells a touching story. We sincerely invite you to witness the wisdom and hard work left by our ancestors, and at the same time, let Dafudi be a testament to this heritage.
