Within the unique urban context of Taichung's old city, 1969 establishes a modern, refined, and sophisticated industrial style amidst a romantic, nostalgic atmosphere. 'Historical culture, classic sentiment, and the livability of industrial style' are the native DNA of 1969 BlueSky. Push open the heavy brass doors and, under the dazzling crystal chandeliers, encounter the accumulated memories of travelers. The counter transformed from an old boiler, the panels of old electrical distribution boxes, the texture of the walls left from removing old staircases – every detail makes you feel as if you're on a time train, returning to the romantic and magnificent atmosphere of 1969. We seek out uniquely designed lamp holders, nuts, and hardware parts to create a delicate yet elegant industrial style within the rooms. The bull-head coat rack pays homage to Picasso and local culture, the Majolica tiles with classical patterns painted on the bathroom floors, and the interlocking wooden puzzles on the washstands all add a distinctive touch to the rooms, allowing travelers to feel warmth and surprise in every corner they enter.
