Along the way, there is Haikoucheng Restaurant and many natural attractions such as the Shuangli Wetland Nature Center. The old house was built in the late Qing Dynasty, before the Republic of China. It is a Southern Fujian-style building with swallowtail ridges, a four-room layout with an added protruding turtle. In 2015, it was renovated according to the subsidy regulations for the repair of Southern Fujian-style buildings. There are a total of six rooms: two loft-style quadruple rooms, one loft-style six-person room, and three double rooms. Except for one double room used by the manager, the other five rooms are used as homestay accommodations. In addition to preserving traditional building materials and appearance, the Southern Fujian-style architecture also incorporates the local unique granite geology as the building foundation and unique architectural culture. Local red clay is used to fire red bricks, and Koji pottery and mosaic techniques are used to maintain vibrant colors.
