More than three years ago, I had the good fortune to buy this dilapidated house, which was full of junk. After one to two years of planning and over a year of renovation work, it's finally complete! I've preserved most of the original architecture from that era, including the bright lighting, terrazzo stairs and floors, and Taiwanese cypress doors and windows. You can always feel the simple contentment and pure beauty of that time.
In 2012, I became a father to a daughter named Le Qing. I hope my daughter lives a happy and fulfilling life, with every day as bright as a clear sky. Her arrival is the happiest thing in my life, and also the beginning of a new responsibility! That's why I named the house with "Le" as the central point, calling it "Le Zhai 1960" (Le House 1960), so my precious daughter knows the guesthouse is named after her.
