Xiuchuanju. A hundred years ago during the Qing Dynasty, Xiuchuan Street was a commercial street. The old Sanxia River pier was located here, bustling with merchant ships and endless splendor. At that time, all the daily necessities of the residents were gathered here, gradually forming a traditional architectural complex. During the Japanese colonial period, commercial activities in this area declined, and most of the shops moved to the current Sanxia Old Street. However, the area around Xiuchuan Street still retains a strong sense of everyday life, making it one of Taiwan's most historically valuable old streets. To revive the former beauty of the old house, Ganle Wenchuan (Canle Culture & Creativity) reinterpreted an old house as a detached guesthouse, "Xiuchuanju," with a simple and gentle perspective. The interior decoration retains the old house's charm, with nostalgic floor tiles and warm yellow pendant lights, naturally exuding an indescribable gentle and intimate family feeling. We hope that guests who stay here temporarily can experience the nostalgic past in this modern setting, and spend a pleasant holiday with family, friends, colleagues, and classmates, creating beautiful memories together.
