Youyu Homestay. Maura is the name of the grandfather, a retired principal whose dream was to sit facing the mountains and the sea, enjoying the pure countryside. After 40 years of hard work, he finally achieved his dream and built his first home. From selecting the location to designing every brick and tile, it took 5 years of planning and construction to complete. Since childhood, this has been the place we looked forward to returning to every summer and winter vacation. Now that Grandpa is old and his body is no longer as strong as it used to be, he needs better medical resources and has to move away. To revitalize this building that has been lived in for nearly 20 years, the three grandchildren decided to take out a loan together, renovate it, and transform it into a vacation homestay, inheriting the joy Grandpa brought us. We named it Maura's House after Grandpa, so that more people can experience this joy. The "Youyu" homestay is located in the small fishing village of Fushan, and its name is a homophone for "abundance every year," hoping that this place can sustainably operate Grandpa's love.
