The resort is located in Jiaoxi, Yilan, a place often graced by fine rain. The linear streaks of rain act as an undefined medium between people and the streets, reinterpreting and fragmenting the streetscape. In Jiaoxi's rain, the hot springs merge with the hazy mist, creating a blurred texture between people in the pools. We aim to replace a solid mass with an undefined texture, allowing irregular lines to create a sense of ambiguity in the volume. The lines are interspersed with the activities of travelers in the rooms, constantly changing their appearance – sometimes half-covered by curtains, sometimes filled with mist, sometimes clear and bright, sometimes illuminated by the night. The perception of the building by street pedestrians also changes with their movement, transforming the architecture into a dynamic texture, much like the mystery of Jiaoxi in the fine rain and mist.
