The owner of the B&B also sincerely invites everyone to come and stay, offering good tea and good coffee, to taste Chiayi's fine tea and coffee. Coincidentally, the owner's name contains the character "Ming" (茗, meaning tea), so the B&B is named "Ming Xie Guang Lin" (茗謝光臨), which sounds like "Thank you for coming" but with a tea-related pun. The B&B uses a heirloom whole-house water purifier and a WATPURE water dispenser (drinkable, removes environmental hormones) used in five-star hotels. On the second floor, there is a Hozon hot, warm, and cold water dispenser. The rooms are furnished with Scan Teak furniture. The bathrooms have separate wet and dry shower areas and bathtubs for soaking (only three rooms, with skylights for stargazing while bathing). The toiletries are natural DP soapberry shower gel and shampoo, and there are HCG bidet toilet seats.
