The most famous coastal landscape in the Yanliao area is Taiwan's longest gravel beach, and it is also the best place along Taiwan's coast to learn about rocks. The gravel on the beach boasts the widest variety of rocks. Metamorphic rocks from the Central Mountain Range, having traveled a long distance, gather here with sedimentary and igneous rocks from the Coastal Mountain Range, creating a spectacular geological landscape.
