While teaching, we also continued to create. Our sculpted piece 'Peaceful Family' won an award in the craft category at the Taoyuan Art Exhibition, and our knotted piece 'Summer Scenery' received an honorable mention in the Chinese Knot Art competition. • The studio is located next to the Taoyuan Hakka Culture Hall. In recent years, in response to the Hakka Affairs Council's philosophy of 'Deepening Culture, Revitalizing Industry, Boosting Tourism, and Activating Hakka Villages,' we have been dedicated to integrating the image of the tung blossom into tangible products. In March 2009, over 100 types of tung blossom artworks created over the years were exhibited at the Culture Hall, receiving a warm response. These were compiled into a book, which was subsidized for publication by the Hakka Affairs Council as an excellent publication.
