After decades of effort and overcoming numerous difficulties, Taiwan Plastics Corporation has become one of the world's largest PVC powder producers. Taiwan Plastics Corporation not only initiated the budding of Taiwan's petrochemical industry but also spurred the vigorous development of the plastics processing industry, holding epochal significance for the nation's economic development. Formosa Plastics Group began with the plastics industry and later diversified, gradually expanding into industries such as petrochemicals, fibers, textiles, electronics, transportation, heavy industry, energy, automobiles, and biotechnology. Concurrently, it actively expanded overseas investment, becoming one of the largest private enterprises in Taiwan. In the process of corporate development, adhering to the principle of "taking from society and giving back to society," it also initiated social welfare undertakings such as medical care and education to give back to the public.
