The Yakult factory relocated from Xinzhuang, Taipei to Zhongli, Taoyuan in 1999, and the new factory building was rebuilt on the same site in 2013. The current Zhongli new factory is a modern, diversified factory that integrates green energy, environmental protection, and technology. As you enter the reception area on the first floor, you'll see a three-dimensional "Yakult Lady" welcoming figure. The factory features a "floor-to-ceiling window" design, making the entire visitor area bright and comfortable. The tour route includes a Yakult history area, display cases of early artifacts and products, and a production process viewing corridor. With audio-visual guides covering everything from lactic acid bacteria cultivation to the production process, visitors can learn how Yakult is made. You can even experience watching a magnified real-time image of Yakult's live lactic acid bacteria through a microscope.
