The interior decoration is clean and simple, but what is particularly impressive are the many photos of famous celebrities dining here. The owner says that the interior decoration has been updated many times over the past twenty years, and the only furniture that has remained unchanged is the large cupboard on the wall directly behind. This was personally made by the old owner when he started the business, which fully reflects the owner Mr. Xu Zhenbiao's gratitude and filial piety towards his father's hard work in starting the business. When you dine here, you can feel the warmth and comfort of home through the friendly hospitality of the owner and his wife. The restaurant offers both traditional Hakka delicacies, such as traditional Hakka free-range chicken (the owner says it's celebrity Hu Gua's favorite) and shredded ginger pork intestines, as well as innovative dishes like perilla eggplant. The economical and excellent value prices (Hakka rice noodles at 40 NT dollars per plate are truly a great value and delicious), and the complimentary yet delicious post-meal dessert – brown sugar steamed cake – are another surprise for gourmets.
