The characters "He" (禾) and "Huo" (火) combined form "Qiu" (秋, autumn), reflecting the hope for the energy that the annual Jinqiu Art Festival brings to the local area. Beyond the annual festive atmosphere, the canteen aims to integrate the curatorial concept of "community of life" into daily local life. Here in Lukang, we "live together"; at Hehuo Canteen, we "eat together." Through the daily act of chewing, we can savor the human touch and local sentiment that Jinqiu has diligently cultivated in Lukang over the past few years.
