Established in 1961, it's now run by the second-generation owner, Xu Yilang. The shop's signature floating Tuotouyu Geng (Spanish Mackerel Thick Soup) features Spanish mackerel coated in sweet potato flour, boiled until it floats, then combined with cabbage and egg drops in a thickened broth. The taste is fresh, sweet, and delicious, with large, chewy pieces of fish. It's one of Beigang locals' favorite late-night snacks. Additionally, they offer tender and chewy braised pork hock and fragrant pork rib rice, which are classic dishes highly recommended by food connoisseurs! Friends visiting Beigang are welcome to try it during dinner or late-night hours.
