[Brand Ata] "Ata" - Named after the formal Paiwan word for beaded patterns, qkata. "Ata Culture" is a cooperative group of indigenous women dedicated to preserving traditional patterns and techniques. Combining expertise in various crafts, they draw inspiration from the stories behind each qkata (Ata) pattern, using creative lifestyle ideas to continue traditional handicraft techniques and the production of traditional artifacts and patterns. This approach enhances cultural meaning and offers interesting cultural perspectives on traditional life, embodying the spirit of giving and sharing. Located within the Taitung Sugar Factory, Here R Original Craft Village is a place where Ata Culture brings together indigenous workshops from Taitung to collectively voice their heritage in the idle spaces of the Taitung Sugar Factory, presenting the "Tribal Artisan" spatial appearance of Taitung's local craft culture. With the establishment of the Here R Craft Village, there is the fragrance of pandan leaf weaving, the warmth of fired glass beads, the patterns of woven fabrics, the scent of wood shavings, and the songs from the tribes. Warehouses have been transformed into a vibrant exhibition and sales space for tribal handicrafts and creative products...
