At some point, I developed an inexplicable and irresistible interest in traditional weaving. Weaving is an important cultural symbol in traditional Amis life; it is a synonym for Amis beauty and represents the wisdom passed down by Amis ancestors. Inheritance is a heavy task, but also a responsibility – a promise to ancestors and a reminder to future generations. Only through continuous inheritance can high-quality works be realized.
