Super juicy meat-filled fishballs. Located on Xingxue Street, #ShihChiaFishball is Hsinchu's original fishball shop. The storefront looks like an unassuming ordinary small stall, with a dining area on one side and a fishball factory on the other. Established 80 years ago, they still insist on making the freshest fishballs by hand, and the taste leaves every Hsinchu local who has tried them with unforgettable memories. The shop only sells two items: soup and braised pork rice. For soup, we recommend the #ThreeFishballSoup, which contains Hsinchu pork balls, meat-filled fishballs, and yanwan (swallow dumplings), all very large. #CityEditor highly recommends the meat-filled fishballs! The fishball filling contains fresh lean meat, green onions, and sweet and crispy water chestnuts. The outer layer of the fishball has excellent elasticity, and the fish flavor is very rich. First-timers must be careful not to get burned, as the delicious broth will burst out when you bite into it, just like the exploding peeing beef balls in the movie 'God of Cookery'.
