With no prior baking experience, he began by seeking advice from seniors and teachers. After numerous failures and setbacks, it took him nearly 5 years to finally find his place in the forest. To highlight the distinctiveness and uniqueness of his pancakes, Chen Wen-hsing started developing pancakes for the "tourist market," changing the traditional shapes and flavors, constantly coming up with creative pancake ideas. On weekends, he would load up his stall with his products and sell them directly at tourist attractions. Over time, he gradually gained recognition, and other vendors began to buy from him to resell. He gradually realized that his creative pancakes had more room for development, so Chen Wen-hsing continued to unleash his wild imagination. From "Panda Pancakes" that coincided with the popularity of Yuan Zai at the Taipei Zoo, to "Duck Pancakes" that rode the wave of the Little Yellow Duck craze, he can now provide customized pancakes for businesses. The intricate molds can accurately imprint QR codes, allowing customers to scan the pancake with their phones to instantly access a designated webpage or Facebook. Not only does he offer cute and customized pancakes, but Chen Wen-hsing has also specifically designed peach-shaped pancakes exclusively for Chiayi City.
