Ai Mu Cun was formerly Shun Yi Wood Industry, with half a century of history in Chiayi. When it was passed down to the second generation, the Yan Wei-De couple, in order to continue the possibilities of wood development, they continuously communicated with their elders. From being initially not favored or understood to finally gaining recognition and affirmation, it took a full three years for Ai Mu Cun to be born. It is hoped that through this space, more people will understand the applications of wood, appreciate the mysteries of trees in nature, and the history of forestry development. Not only to bring a way out for the forestry industry, but the greater original intention is to preserve visitors' memories of wood. With this original intention, all aspects, including interior decoration, copywriting, and spatial design, were handled by the Yan Wei-De couple themselves.
