Inheriting the pastry-making skills learned from the Japanese during the Japanese colonial era by the founder's father, the shop has evolved from its early offerings of yokan to include steamed buns, snowflake cakes, sweet potatoes, and innovative square crackers. Among these, the Nan Xin Snowflake Cake, with its nostalgic flavor, features premium butter as a filling and comes in two flavors: lemon and pineapple. The surface is sprinkled with a layer of powdered sugar, resembling snowflakes, hence its name. It is soft, fluffy, and melts in your mouth.
