The park preserves the evolution of local self-governance systems and historical development, featuring the Museum of Political Affairs, the Provincial Assembly Hall, and the Chao Qin Memorial Hall for public visits. It is Taiwan's first historic building repurposed as a hall. It is open for public accommodation and has a restaurant and cafe.
