Chiao-Tung Sausage Museum. In 1957, Mr. Chen Wen-hui, the founder of Chiao-Tung Foods, established a family-run meat processing factory by the Tainan Canal, in a place commonly known as "Black Bridge" (now Xin Nan Bridge). In 1973, the trademark 'Chiao-Tung Bridge' was registered. In 1979, the factory was expanded to the Tainan Anping Industrial Park, becoming Taiwan's first automated meat processing plant. In December 2009, it was officially renamed 'Chiao-Tung Foods Enterprise Co., Ltd.' In 2012, the Chiao-Tung Sausage Museum, a tourist factory, was established, dedicated to the education of the meat processing industry and the cultural promotion of original gourmet food.
