Tourists taking the "Taiwan Tourist Shuttle" can get off at the Sun Moon Lake (Shuishe) stop and will see the Shuishe Integrated Shopping Mall (opposite the police station). Visitors driving themselves can park their vehicles at the Shuishe Zhongxing Parking Lot and walk for about 3 minutes to rent bicycles. Sun Moon Lake has been vigorously promoting cycling activities in recent years. Since 2008, Giant has further cooperated with the Sun Moon Lake National Scenic Area Administration to establish its global flagship store. Here, you can enjoy exclusive services not available elsewhere, such as renting bicycles worth up to NT$150,000, bicycles equipped with GPS and one-button emergency call systems, and receiving a cycling certificate upon successful completion of the lake circuit (bearing the official seal of the Sun Moon Lake Administration and the signature of the director). Next to the bike station, there are also convenient public restrooms with shower facilities provided by the Administration and a map of the dedicated cycling path system, ensuring satisfaction for both those challenging the full lake circuit or enjoying a leisurely ride. During the International Fireworks Music Carnival held every autumn, foreign tourists can enjoy bicycle rental discounts; please inquire at the store for application details. Rental Services: Valid identification (ID card, driver's license, health insurance card) is required for rental. Foreign nationals need a passport or residence permit. No deposit is required for extension fees.
