The period from 1966 to 1981 was the heyday of Dong Yi Cheng. At that time, it was also the main bus station for Changhua Bus to Puli. Tickets to Lukang, Changhua from the Puli area were purchased at this store, with a constant stream of customers and good business. Although modern Taiwanese people usually shop at convenience stores, PX Mart, or hypermarkets, something is always missing – the human touch. This human touch is the greatest motivation for Grandma A-mian to continue operating the old store. She enjoys chatting with young customers and exchanging pleasantries with neighbors. After over 60 years, 'Dong Yi Cheng' remains a place that sells human connection! Snacks & Souvenir Retail. Features: Puli's only nostalgic grocery store with 60 years of history, a welcoming tourist information center. Taiwan's only post office agency under the name 'Dong Yi Cheng', selling Taiwanese stamps & special stamp albums. Puli Station's only cultural and creative souvenir exhibition and sales center, featuring Sun Moon Lake & Puli postcards. Free Admission: Includes the Dongmen Story House, displaying old photographs & everyday items from Puli grandmothers.
