More than ten years ago, the owner opened a shop on Central Road in Shimen downtown, officially hanging the "Liu Family Zongzi" sign. Due to the large daily sales volume, the store hired more than ten people to work in shifts tying and wrapping zongzi, from grandmothers to new brides from other places, all are skilled and quick. About Liu Family Zongzi In the early 1970s, the "Eighteen Lords Temple" became increasingly popular. Many people came to "Eighteen Lords" to worship those who died at sea. It was rumored among believers that offering hot food as a sacrifice would be more effective. Therefore, Liu Guosheng, who was selling zongzi at a stall in the Shimen Cave area at the time, began to push his stall to the Eighteen Lords Temple to sell zongzi from time to time. As a result, the zongzi business flourished, and zongzi offerings emerged. In order to specialize in zongzi production, Liu Family Zongzi moved from a small alley of only three to four ping to Central Road in Shimen downtown to sell zongzi, and officially hung the "Liu Family Zongzi" sign.
