Many people have eaten Oa-Dae and Oa-Tsai Jian, but few would associate Oa-Dae, Oa-Tsai Jian, and Oa-Tsai Bao together. In fact, Oa-Tsai Bao is a combination of Oa-Dae and Oa-Tsai Jian, and the person who developed it is Lin Wu-Hsiung, the owner of Budai Ting Kan Chi Oa-Tsai Bao. Lin Wu-Hsiung (born 1967) originally made a living from aquaculture. Due to unstable income, he started a business with the encouragement of friends to support his family. He didn't want to sell the same things as others, so he had to develop unique items himself. He thought of Oa-Dae and Oa-Tsai Jian, which he had eaten since childhood, and tried to combine them, leading to the concept of Oa-Tsai Bao. After some trial production, he started selling at night markets, continuously improving the product based on customer feedback and suggestions. Oa-Tsai Bao, originally very large, so large that children or even customers couldn't finish it, was modified to its current form.
