The reason Wu Li-juan started the stall back then was that the famous "Axi Auntie's Oyster Omelet" in Beimen closed down due to Axi Auntie's old age, which made Beimen residents miss it greatly. This prompted Wu Li-juan to start her own stall. Wu Li-juan's oyster omelet stall was set up under the arcade of what is now "Axuan Spanish Mackerel Thick Soup Shop," selling every day. However, at that time, Beimen's tourism industry had not yet developed, there were no tourists, and business was very slow, so she considered closing the stall. Her mother, Wu Wang Ming-shan, noticed that there were more individual customers on weekends and holidays, so she took over the oyster omelet stall, moving it to the corner of Yonglong Temple and continuing to sell, but only on holidays. Because Wu Wang Ming-shan's name contained the character "shan" (善), the villagers originally called her "Ashan-zi," and later some called her "Ashanshi," which unexpectedly became her golden signboard. After Ashanshi struggled to operate for a period, the Southwest Coast National Scenic Area Administration was established in Beimen.
